Bruxism is the technical name given to the grinding of teeth that sometimes happens to people when they sleep or concentrate. The two main characteristics of this condition are the grinding of the teeth and the clenching of the jaw. This phenomenon usually occurs during sleeping hours but can also occur consciously in adults as well as in children.<\/p>\n

Grinding your teeth or clenching your jaw is much more than just a nervous habit to ignore, as such a disorder can lead to serious oral health problems, including excessive tooth wear and possibly the development of temporomandibular joint pain. Gum disease<\/h3>\n
