Dental trauma or injury can cause damage to the pulp that might not be visible to the naked eye. If a tooth remains untreated, pain or sensitivity may appear and an abscess may develop.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"scale-with-grid\" style=\"padding: 5px 0px 5px 10px;\" src=\"https:\/\/cliniquedentairebellerive.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/traitement-de-canal-dentiste-bellerive.jpg\" alt=\"Traitement de canal\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Some of the common symptoms patients may experience before a root canal treatment are sensitivity to heat or cold, discoloration of the tooth and visible lesions or swelling around it. However, it is important to know that some patients may not have any symptoms at all. In such circumstances, Dr. Al Eid will extract the inflamed or infected pulp, then carefully clean and reshape the canal. The canal is then filled and sealed with a temporary product and two to five weeks later, the permanent restoration (filling or crown) is set into place by Dr. Al Eid.<\/p>\n<p>Following your treatment, you will be able to drive home and return directly to your daily routine.
